Iā€™m a psychologist, writer, speaker, mother of 2 magnificent, energetic little boys, and general lover of all things ADHD.

I know - sounds a little weird right?

Maybe, but as the wife of an absolutely amazing guy with ADHD and therapist to a host of awe-inspiring people with ADHD, I am a complete believer in the beauty that can come with an ADHD brain. Can it be hard to make that brain work in this world? Sure! That's what this blog is all about- building the strategies, skills, and tools to translate that ADHD awesomeness to help you thrive

ADDept.org

I started ADDept because I wanted a place where all of my beloved ADHDers to come to get actually-ADHD-friendly, science-backed-but-still-approachable strategies, information, and tools to help them translate their own personal gifts in a way that works in this neurotypical world.  I truly believe in the power of information and strategies to unlock potential. I also believe in its ability to transform the emotional hold that can grip and paralyze the ADHD experience.  I know that not all neurotypical strategies translate to the ADHD brain and even those that do need a little extra care and finesse to make them actually work.  ADDept is the place where you can get that finesse- the step-by-step strategies, the motivational push, and the understanding to unlock the compassion you need to move forward.

My Practice.

Rittenhouse Psychological Services has been helping adults with ADHD thrive for over 10 years through individual, couples and group therapy and evaluation. Each member of our team works in a compassionate and collaborative way to help our clients build the habits, routines, and strategies they need in order to live their life in the most fulfilling way possible.  We have the utmost respect and appreciation not just for the struggles inherent in living with ADHD but also in the strength, tenacity, and creativity that our clients show.  This work is a privilege and an honor (and often lots of fun) and we are so grateful to be able to do it.
